The QSFP112 DR4 transceiver is a 400 Gbit/s pluggable module for optical data communications such as 400GBASE Ethernet and NDR InfiniBand. The transceiver operates with four parallel data streams of 106,25 Gbps in order to provide an aggregated signaling rate of 425 Gbps. The module has a MPO8 male connector and uses four fiber pairs to create the four data lanes. Each lane operates at 1310nm and is interoperable with 100GBASE-DR transceivers. Hence the QSFP112 DR4 can easily be used for breakout of 400G to 4x100G.
The module is fully compliant with all QSFP112 related MSA standards and Digital Diagnostic functions are available through an I2C interface. QSFP112-DR4 complies with IEEE 802.3, 400Gbase-DR4 and NDR InfiniBand.
