Description

The OSFP 2xDR4 transceiver is a 800 Gbit/ pluggable module for optical data communications. The transceiver has two 400Gbase-DR4 interfaces on the optical side, each of which operates with four parallel data streams of 106.25 Gbps. The module has two MPO 12 (BASE 8) APC male connectors. Each of these are interoperable with 400GBASE-DR4 transceivers. Hence the OSFP 2xDR4 can easily be used for breakout to two separate 400G DR4 transceivers.

The module is fully compliant with all OSFP related MSA standards and Digital Diagnostic functions are available through an I2C interface. OSFP-N-2x400G-DR4 complies with IEEE 802.3 and 400Gbase-DR4.
