The OSFP DR8 transceiver is a 800 Gbit/ pluggable module for optical data communication. The transceiver operates with eight parallel data streams of 106.25 Gbps. The module has one MPO 16 APC male connector which with a break out cable can be used for breakout to two separate 400G DR4 transceivers or eight separate QSFP28-DR transceivers.
The module is fully compliant with all OSFP related MSA standards and Digital Diagnostic functions are available through an I2C interface. OSFP-C-800G-DR4 complies with IEEE 802.3 and 800Gbase-DR4.
