This converter module converts a 100 Gigabit Ethernet QSFP port into a 25 Gigabit Ethernet SFP28 port. It gives customers the flexibility to use the 100 Gigabit QSFP interface port of a switch with QSFP modules or SFP28 modules.
This flexibility is useful when a specific type of interface is not available as a QSFP module or when customers want to use the same form factor for interfaces across multiple platforms deployed in their network.
